Anastasia

Anastasia is now in second grade and loves it for the most part. She misses me since I work nights and don't get to see her very much during the week, but we make it thru. We're hoping within the next year we have some big changes and I'll get to be home when she gets off school or at least by dinner. She is a very amazing little girl that isn't so little anymore. She gets excellent grades in school for the most part. She is a little social butterfly, which I love because I was always so shy, but it isn't always the best thing because she likes to talk in class. We've had many talks about this and she's been doing way better lately. She reads a little above grade level and does excellent on math and spelling. She decided not to do a competition team for dance this year and take a regular class, I think she's kicking herself in the butt now. She's told us several times she's bored in class and wishes she could go back on her team. So we'll see if she's ready for a team again next year. We've been trying to teach her teams are a big commitment and if she decides to do it she has to stick with it for the year. That's why even though she's bored and has been since the beginning I wasn't about to try to have her added back to the team. She needed to learn the lesson that whatever she chose to do she'd have to stick with it till it's over.
